Team Reflection

Our team worked really well together. We mostly stuck to a particular role but we all contributed to multiple parts in the development process. One thing our team did really well was communicating what needed to be done and following through on it consistently. We knew our limits and allocated the appropriate amount of work we could achieve for that week. For example, we met to discuss what needed to be done for our last sprint before the presentation. We had a few UI and gameplay bugs in our game that needed to be fixed, as well as significant enemy/spawning balancing issues, incomplete boss features, and we needed to organize information for the presentation. We allocated work to each group member responsibly and managed to complete each task successfully and on time.

If we had another two weeks to work on our game, our highest three priorities would be to balance the enemy spawning more in the third level, create a tutorial explaining the store items, and create new enemy types for the player to fight. Completing these three tasks would improve the gameplay experience in level 3, communicate more information to the player about what each item does so they feel confident in buying them, and make more varied encounters throughout the levels. However, none of these priorities listed are necessary for the game to be complete. As COVID CRASHER stands, it is a complete game with fun gameplay and interesting story and environment setting.
